Women Wednesday: Millionaires Before 20

When you were a teenager, what was on your mind? Boys. Girls. Sports. Makeup. That hot young actor/ actress. The following three teenagers have money on their mind...and I ain't talking allowance. These teenagers are worth a whopping seven fingers. Yes that's with at least six zeros and two commas. Check them out! If their story isn't motivation...I don't know what is.

Three Teen Millionaires You Should Know

  • Ashley Qualls created a website geared towards teenagers and their ever changing interests. Her site started as a hobby but soon evolved into something more. Qualls' site, whateverlife.com offers free myspace layouts, graphic design tutorials, and information that teens of all walks of life can be interested in. Her site gets several million views to her site and grosses over $70,000 per month. It's interesting to think it all start in her Detroit home with just $8...OMG!

  • Juliette Brindak at the age of 19 is a successful entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist. Her business and website, Miss O &Friends, is worth %15 million and donates to organizations that help young girls annually. Even more interesting is that she has already been in business for 9 years and doesn't plan on stopping any time soon. You Go Girl! Who can say at age 19 they've been in business for 9 years and grosses over seven figures?

  • Abbey Fleck got her million dollar idea straight from her stomach. Enter Makin' Bacon. Have you ever cooked your bacon, but didn't have a way to drain the fat? This is the scenario that helped Abbey launch her million dollar idea. She is proof that nothing can stop you if you are determined and ambitious. Now at age 15, she is reaping the benefits (and royalties) from her invention.

The inspiring story from these young girls makes me want to stay forever young. I think the quote below sums it up perfectly.

"You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair."         -Douglas MacArthur
