Wisdom Wednesday: On courage

I know someone who did something really special that I know had to take a lot of courage to plan and execute.;)

It led me to think about what courage is and how we could all use more of it. Too often we choose not to do something because we are too fearful just to live a life full of regrets. We like to think that courage is the absence of fear in the face of adversity, but even the courageous (soldiers, emergency personnel, your parents) has fear. It is the way in which they use their fear to energize themselves when faced with adversity.

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

What Fab.com can teach us about finding our success

I love this! Fab.com is a deals website specific to interior design that was created several months ago that is more than flourishing now. I loved this slide share they created because it spoke so loudly to all of us finding and creating our own success. They may have created this presentation just to share what they have learned on their journey with Fab.com, but I learned much wisdom that I can apply to my own business and life from them. Check it out!
