She asked me for advice about life after college and what it was like for me. I told her that it's not all milk and cookies when you graduate, especially now with the economy not doing so well. I told her that now is the time where you A. have to create your own opportunities and B. have to be more motivated and resourceful than ever before. I let her know not to wait until you are old and tired and beaten down to realize what you have a passion for. If you have a passion for something, go for it. Don't worry about the fear or what others have to say, it's about what you want and how you plan on making it.
The following quote summarizes everything we talked about and how I feel everyday. Life isn't all chocolate and rose petals, but when you are doing what you want to do and what you are destined to do, it makes it all the easier.
"Follow your passion, and success will follow you."-Terri Guillemets
